My Journey With Cancer

I started with Breast Cancer in 2007. It metastasized to my lungs in 2012. I have had 4 recurrences within 18 years.

Despite the physical and mental toll that cancer takes, my journey with the disease has also been filled with moments of strength, perseverance, and hope.

Through the ups and downs of treatments, I have discovered resilience within myself and the support system of my family. Cancer may be a roller coaster, but I have learned to hold on tight and keep fighting. Once again I am on chemo pills.

Hello, as most of you know, I have been battling cancer for over 18 years. Despite the challenges, my family and some friends have helped me get through it.
I have learned through my roller coaster cancer journey that metastatic cancer patients do not receive much support.

We are dedicated to supporting those affected by cancer by providing FREE, individualized services that nurture the mind, body, and spirit. Our services include emotional and social support, targeted discussion groups, educational programs, individual counseling, and evidence-based nutrition and exercise classes. We believe everyone affected by cancer deserves access to a community of supporters, education, and resources that will help them and their loved ones cope with the challenges of cancer.
